Tiny Garden Homes – Veteran outreach

The Vision

While some organizations dedicate their efforts to constructing a single $250,000 ADA-compliant home for a veteran—a truly admirable gesture—T.G. Homes envisions a different approach.

Instead of focusing on one home, we aim to create a supportive community by building ten $20,000 shelters alongside a community center. Here, veterans can connect, find companionship, and receive regular encouragement from support teams.
The journey begins with a 140-square-foot bedroom, designed as a sturdy storm shelter where individuals can decompress in privacy and safety.

Next, they can move into a 304-square-foot home that balances independent living still with the comfort and camaraderie of a community setting.
As needs grow, we can easily add a storage unit—whether for workshop space or expanded living—ensuring flexibility and options for individual needs.

For those who need mobility, we provide tiny homes on wheels (THOWs), allowing residents to move as life requires.

Ultimately, our goal is a robust, eco-friendly housing system that supports veterans as they transition back into society while maintaining a strong resistant shelter.

Each stage of housing offers opportunities for trade development and ongoing job training, empowering residents to grow, succeed and give back into the network.
Our aim is to offer a range of housing options—graduated in size and complexity—supported by a network of skilled professionals, so veterans can progress from homelessness to complete restoration.

By providing a lease-to-own pathway with oversight and support all the way to productive integration, we can help veterans avoid the initial compliance complex and achieve lasting change—far more impactful than a one-time gift.

Business plan

Establish a living Trust designed as a perpetual reinvestment in housing communities around the country. Using initial and subsequent donations to stimulate community involvement as a robust call to action.
Every player is encouraged to be an active participant in honoring those who have defended our freedoms. Phase one is providing shelter and resources to those who have fallen into hard times with emphasis on those associated with veterans and active duty. Key in this step is to mentor them back into productive and live affirming participation in the community according to their God given gift.
The community assists with the procurement of available support from local, state and federal authorities. Establishing fiscal habits to enable residents to stand independently and contribute back into the system. A portion of their subsidies should be allocated back to perpetuate the Trust.
Estimated Housing $6,000 provisions $6,000 equal to $1,000 per month with subsidies and income of $1,500 they can build discretionary savings of $6,000 annually. Each Trust, through the pursuit of savings and contributions can expand the frontiers of support.
Hypothetical scenario,
Phase one: community center with 22-bedroom shelter units and common services for food and clothing and training. The 22 residences pay the cost of their shelter and contribute to the construction of housing units for those graduating into phase two.
Phase two: A resident uses the equity amassed in productive service to move into an individual unit consistent with the holdings earned during phase one. With faithfulness to their calling, they can affirm a new level of independence with continued support.
Phase three: Through perseverance the resident has a resume’ to fulfill societal requirements to purchase a home and regain full independence.
With each phase the residents witness and participate in an attainable goal made possible by the Trust. Thereby they regain the confidence and skills to face the challenges each day provides.
The mission of the Trust is to create an environment where Local and Business contributors can provide fiduciary support to rehabilitate everyone into building the community.
Rather than building a sports center build a housing center and help the residents build the sports center out of gratitude.
